I'm home- but i have more pictures.

So I'm home- the big holiday is over and it's the big come down to reality. There's stuff to be done! Right as I got to my last $10 work has come to the rescue and put me back on the schedule- thank god, buddha, marilyn manson...whoever. It's always funny when you come back though because nothing ever seems to change....even if things have, it seems like you were there the whole time.

I'm being encouraged to keep this blog going. Apparently some people take an active interest in my life (good for you, so you should!).

My next trip isn't too far away either. I'm going to be venturing down to 'The Can' (Canberra) to visit the RELIES!! yipidy skipidy! More likely that I will spend the most of the time drinking beer and betting on the dogs with my brother

YAY . By the way David- if you are reading this- I'm coming down sooon.

Signing off.

There's no chang, like Koh Chang

So i'm in Koh Chang now- back in thailand - with my head still on my shoulders. Cambodia certainly was an experience. We got ripped off, scammed, piledged and still managed to have a good time. The Angkor Wat temples are amazing.

We met up with Mary and Mike on Koh Chang and we've been scooting around on motos (except for Mary, who crashed hers about 5 flat seconds after we hired it- she was okay though- she has some nice bruises). We've ridden elephants, and today we are going snorkelling. All in all it's been a lot of fun. You'll be pleased to know that last night I also got my drink in a coconut which I've been talking about HOORAY!!!

Anyway, i'm going to throw some pics up for you to see. Hope all of you are well.

It was a nice day for an Ice Bar....now i'm in the tropics

So I have left Sweden (where everyone really is blonde and beautiful and says - jah jah a lot). Had a great time, and met some great people. Went to a karaoke bar and asked a handsome swedish man to sing me abba (and he did - YES!!). Went to a bar made of ice....drank vodka- also very nice.

Then I went to England. Big suprise that it was raining? Surely not. They claimed it had not rained since Christmas- WHATEVER!!! Drunk some pints and watched some olympics. It was very nice and relaxing and i and nice to see some familiar faces.

Now- I am in Thailand. Staying on Ko San Rd....in a dodgy little hotel room. Perfect. Good thing i have locks.. It definately is a far cry from the dusit tani mum and dad.

Tomorrow we are off to Cambodia (wish us luck)- should be an excellent experience.

But now- i'm going to go and find me a curry!!

DELICIOUS!!

WHO wants a fake ralph lauren shirt? hmm?? hands?

I have arrived in Stockholm, Sweden.

No pictures this post, but I just thought I would let you all know that i have arrived in Stockholm. It's nice and snowy and the buildings look beautiful. I firmly believe though, that children should be kept underneath the plane...not with the traveling public. It's because of this I am now going to go to bed- so I can get a full day of sightseeing in tomorrow.

Ciao for now..

It's another snowy morning in Keystone today

I was supposed to work at 6:30am this morning- turns out I'm not but i stayed awake to take a picture just as the sun rose. It's another snowy day in Keystone. Looks like we have gotten about 2 inches. You can see Keystone mountain off in the fog.

It's a Medical Emergency!

My friend Kristen works as a Emergency Medical Technician for the resort. Whilst on a walk with her, we stumbled across an ice sculpture bear which had fallen and broken in half. The picture is Kristen trying to revive to poor bear.

It's a GOAT HO-DOWN!!

Here's a picture of a typical band which plays at the Goat. The guy on the far right started the band and used to be a part of a group called 'Left Over Salmon'..if you are into that sort of stuff. I guess my question though is about the girl. At what point to you pick up a washboard and think 'Hey, think I am going to go and play this in a band!'.....hmmm... southerners..
